Huaktan joins Róis at Limelight in the United Kingdom for a one-off gig on 6 August 2026 that pulls together electronic, folk, jazz and sean-nós threads. Drawing on work such as “a woman goes swimming in a lake”, “Edward on Lough Erne Shore” and the album “UISCE AGUS BEAN”, Róis’s set is rooted in traditional song while folding in electronics and jazz-inflected harmony. With Huaktan opening the show, the performance centres on Róis’s shifting tempos, changing moods and multi-instrumental approach, giving Limelight a tightly focused exploration of her evolving sound world.
