The Durham-based musician draws on traditional songs and material from his album “When I’m Called”, alongside work linked to his “Rebuilding” project, in a solo set shaped by detailed guitar playing and narrative weight. Slotted mid-run between the opening art punk date and later indie and post-punk shows, this performance shifts the series towards folk-rooted textures, using the Brudenell’s close atmosphere to highlight Fussell’s voice and arrangements.
