Jerron Paxton opens his January 2027 French run at New Morning in France on 27 January, presented by PRB. Known to many as Blind Boy Paxton, he draws on early twentieth-century American blues and folk, reaching back to material heard on "Recorded Music For Your Entertainment" and the single "Dirtiest Little Darling". Alongside pieces like "Catfish Blues (Live)", "Motherless Child Blues" and "Candy Man", this New Morning show sets the tone for a short series that continues at Quai M the following night before closing at Albi Jazz Festival.
