Following Talib Kweli’s conscious hip hop opener and the In Colour Festival date, this winter show narrows the focus back to a single act. The Brudenell’s reputation for intimate gigs plays into the group’s idiosyncratic stage presence, allowing close interaction between band and audience. Positioned just before the series moves into its February finale with Just Radiohead, the December performance acts as a bridge between the autumn festival setup and the closing pair of tribute-led nights.
