The 28 June date at O2 Forum Kentish Town closes American Football’s two-night June 2026 run, again pairing their emo, indie rock, math rock and midwest emo sound with Marconi Union’s atmospheric electronics. American Football appear in the wake of their self-titled fourth LP, folding newer tracks like “Bad Moons” and “For Sure” into a set that can reach back to “Never Meant” and “Fade Into You”. Marconi Union open the show with ambient, ambient techno and downtempo pieces, building on releases including “Signals”, “Dead Air”, “The Fear of Never Landing” and their ongoing “Studio Sessions” series.
