THE JOINERS SUMMER SHOWS draws to a close at Heartbreakers on 23 August 2026, with Michael Cera Palin headlining the final date. The Atlanta band bring a blend of emo, indie rock, math rock and midwest emo, drawing on releases such as "The Loose Ends of Act 1" and "We Could Be Brave". Their intricate guitar work and emotionally direct vocals suit the close quarters of the venue. Buds open the night with a contrasting set built on Brazilian bass and hip hop, giving the finale a stylistic twist that cuts away from the series’ guitar core while keeping energy levels high to the last note.
