Nation Of Language open their three-night June 2026 run at Village Underground on 18 June, bringing their hybrid of indie pop, post-punk and synthwave to the Shoreditch arches. Drawing from albums like “Strange Disciple” and “A Way Forward”, the Brooklyn group’s new wave-inflected sound is built for the room’s brick-and-steel resonance. Supporting, Lael Neale adds a contrasting folk and singer-songwriter perspective, threading minimalist pop touches through her set. Together they frame the first show as a meeting point between synth-led introspection and stripped-back storytelling, giving this opening night its own character within the Village Underground series.
