Theon Cross brings his tuba-centred afrobeat, experimental electronic and jazz project to La Belle Angele in Edinburgh on 12 August 2026. This Edinburgh Fringe gig focuses on his boundary-pushing blend of low-end brass, rhythm-heavy grooves and electronics, drawing from the same forward-thinking approach heard on releases like "Affirmations (live at Blue Note New York)" and the EP "Techno Logic". With a solo bill that highlights his command of rhythm and texture, Cross uses tuba, effects and beats to link UK jazz with club-informed sound design in an intimate venue setting.
