Mumford & Sons head up this Marlay Park gig in Ireland, bringing their mix of alternative rock, Americana, folk pop and folk rock to a sizeable outdoor stage. They are joined by The War On Drugs, whose dream pop, heartland rock, indie rock and neo-psychedelia deepen the bill’s guitar-driven focus. Dublin’s Pillow Queens add a sharper edge, folding indie rock, pop, punk and rock into the line-up. Somebody's Child opens with an indie pop and pop set, tying the show together as a meeting point for contemporary rock, folk-rooted songwriting and hook-heavy melody.
