On 17 October 2026, Fat Freddys Drop take their Based On A True Story 21st Anniversary Tour into O2 Apollo, joined by Nightmares On Wax. Following the opening night at The Prospect Building, the band continue their exploration of acid jazz, downtempo, dub and electronic soundscapes, informed by work such as "Blackbird Returns", "Wairunga" and "Lock-In". Nightmares On Wax provides direct support with a set rooted in breakbeat, downtempo, instrumental hip hop and nu jazz. Together they bring a distinctly electronic and groove-focused bill to O2 Apollo between the Bristol and Rock City dates.
