Pavilions Plymouth hosts Squeeze on 1 December 2026 as the Tried, Tested and Trixies: 53 Years of Classic Songwriting tour moves along the south-west. In this arena-style space their new wave, pop and rock songs land with weight, with a setlist folding in material from the 2026 "Trixies" chapter. Billy Bragg opens the evening, using his mix of alternative rock, folk and anti-folk to set a direct, conversational tone. Across the night the contrast between Bragg’s solo storytelling and Squeeze’s tightly drilled band arrangements gives a clear view of two approaches to the same songwriting craft.
