Squeeze bring their Tried, Tested and Trixies: 53 Years of Classic Songwriting tour to O2 City Hall Newcastle upon Tyne on 16 November 2026. In a room built for clear sightlines and sound, their new wave, pop and rock songs land with a direct punch, from earlier singles through to tracks from "Trixies". Billy Bragg opens with guitar-and-voice material that threads together alternative rock, folk and anti-folk, giving the night a stripped-back first half before the full band set. The double bill joins two distinct but complementary strands of British songwriting.
