Desertfest London 2026 opens at The Electric Ballroom with Hermano at the top of a bill steeped in heavy riffs and haze. The American group bring their desert rock and stoner rock sound to Camden, joined by Danish instrumental jam band Causa Sui, who stretch out into psychedelic and space rock territory. Capricorns add instrumental doom metal and progressive metal weight, while Gnome push straight-ahead rock’n’roll energy. Sargeant Thunderhoof lead the show, linking the desert rock pulse of Hermano with the expansive instrumentals elsewhere and setting the tone for the festival’s heavy first night.
