Smote brings an immersive blend of ambient, drone, folk and psychedelic music to The Attic in Leeds on 9 May 2026, in a Please Please You & Brudenell presentation. Guided by Daniel Foggin, the project’s textured soundscapes draw on releases like “Genog” and “A Grand Stream”, where slow-burning drones, folk motifs and exploratory arrangements interlock. This Leeds gig places Smote’s experimental approach in an intimate room suited to detailed, evolving sound. Opening the show, Green sets the tone before Smote’s headlining set unfolds, giving the bill a clear focus on exploratory, atmospheric music rooted in drone and folk traditions.
