James Arthur steps into The Piece Hall on 4 July for a Live At The Piece Hall date built around pop and pop soul, bringing his current “Bitter Sweet Love” era into the Halifax series. Arriving days after the punk-driven Bowling For Soup and Frank Turner show, this gig softens the edges with big choruses and ballads while keeping the focus on contemporary chart-facing songwriting. As the run moves into July, Arthur’s appearance helps pivot the programme towards the folk, alternative rock and classic pop of David Gray, Deacon Blue and Billy Ocean that close out the 15-show span.
