VERNFEST 2026 opens at The Rose and Crown on 23 May with Sweet Apple Jam topping a densely packed line-up. Flawed Legacy, Riverяats, Ditch The Demon and Ground Loop join the bill alongside Dexter In The Newsagent, whose south London songwriting draws from releases like the "Fortune Cookie" EP and "I Do Love a Good Sandwich". India Purton, Black Velvet, Clean Sneak and Stuffed Crust deepen the roster, with Tabitha Lily, Mark Harrington, Slim Jim And The Ginsoakers and Imputonence completing the first-night run. It is the opening show of a two-date weekend, both rooted in the same venue and cast of acts.
