Known for threading alternative country and country rock, he draws on albums like “Houdini And The Sucker Punch”, “Journey to the Sun”, “King of Madrid” and “Live in the Firth” to build a set that balances narrative detail and melodic hooks. This Liverpool show lands midway in an eight-date sequence, following Barnoldswick and feeding straight into the Conwy gig at NEUADD NI the next night, before a short break ahead of the Scottish and island dates.
