A Certain Ratio bring their post-punk, alternative dance and funk hybrid to Trades Club in the United Kingdom on 22 October 2026. Formed in 1977, the band use this anniversary run to revisit milestone albums “Sextet” and “Force”, with a set built around the records that shaped their reputation. The bill also features Sextet and Birmingham outfit Force, whose hard rock roots add a heavier counterpoint to A Certain Ratio’s dance-punk and dance-rock grooves. It is a focused look at the group’s history and influences in an intimate setting, spanning angular rhythms, low-slung funk and classic riff-driven rock.
