Freak Slug’s lo-fi indie pop and shoegaze-tinged songs, including “Liquorice”, “27 Club” and “Blue Eyes”, open the night with a blend of fragile vocals and saturated guitar lines. New Dad then close the run by pushing their own atmospheric indie pop to full scale, drawing on layered guitars and patient dynamics.
