The spring folk run at The Tin Music and Arts begins on 22 March 2026 with Malin Lews leading the bill. This opening gig frames the series with a focus on contemporary folk, pairing Lews’ headline set with support from Jude Rees. Known as an oboist and multi-instrumentalist working across classical, folk, contemporary and early music, Rees brings period woodwinds and electronics into the room, expanding the texture of the night beyond acoustic roots. Together they give the Coventry venue a first look at the run’s folk emphasis, balancing Lews’ songs with Rees’ exploratory approach.
