God Is An Astronaut bring their ambient, instrumental rock and krautrock-inflected post-rock to the Academy in Dublin on 3 April 2026, headlining a bill that leans into immersive, wordless sound. The Glen of the Downs outfit arrive with material from releases such as the atmospheric album "Embers" and "Live at Dunk!Fest 2023", alongside recent singles "Falling Leaves" and "All Is Violent, All Is Bright". Opening the show, London-based cellist Jo Quail adds a contrasting yet compatible edge, drawing on contemporary classical, post-metal and post-rock textures to build looping, layered pieces that set up the headliners’ widescreen dynamics.
