The Blow Monkeys bring their sophisticated British pop and pop rock to Opium in Ireland on 2 October 2026, presented by Midnight Mango and MCD. Formed in 1981, the group draw on decades of songwriting, from classic material such as "Animal Magic" and "(Celebrate) The Day After You" through to recent albums "The Wild River", "Journey to You" and "Together/Alone". With new songs from "Birdsong" due in 2025 expanding their catalogue further, the band’s melodic hooks and polished arrangements make this performance at the Dublin venue a focused showcase of their pop, pop rock and rock catalogue.
