The Handsome Family bring their Americana and gothic country storytelling to Brudenell Social Club on 18 May 2026, deep into this multi-month sequence. Drawing from albums such as “Wilderness”, “Unseen” and “Hollow”, alongside songs like “Far From Any Road”, their set leans into narrative detail and slow-burn atmosphere. In contrast to the progressive rock of The Orchestra (For Now) and the beat-driven experiments of Quickly, Quickly, this night centres songs and voices, with the Brudenell’s warm, unpretentious room giving their material the kind of close listening it thrives on.
