Independent Venue Week at The Trades Club begins on 27 January 2026 with Stick In The Wheel leading a folk and folktronica-focused show. Returning to a room they know well, the group draw from their album "A Thousand Pokes" and the "Ruins EP", threading electronic textures through traditional song forms. With material such as "100,000 Years", "A Tree Must Stand in the Earth" and "Bedlam" in their catalogue, this performance places contemporary production alongside stories rooted in British folk. As the opening night of a five-date Independent Venue Week run at the venue, it sets a clear folk-centred tone.
