The Castle’s Independent Venue Week 2026 programme closes on 1 February with Flip Top Head headlining the final show. The Brighton group arrive in Luton off the back of material such as "Seventh Bell Number" and "Intro 98 / 1st July 2006", plus the EP "Up Like a Weather Balloon" and the newly announced "Trilateral Machine". Their layered, exploratory rock approach anchors the last night of the run, following previous dates from Alien Chicks, Big Trousers, Ugly Ozo and Pengshui. As the closing performance, this gig ties together several strands of contemporary British rock showcased across the week.
