Godspeed You! Black Emperor bring their immersive instrumental sound to O2 Academy Leeds on 9 April 2026, weaving ambient, drone and experimental rock into long-form pieces. Drawing on releases such as “G_d’s Pee AT STATE’S END!” and “Luciferian Towers”, the Canadian group’s live performances centre on shifting dynamics, layered guitars and dense atmospheres instead of vocals or conventional song structures. With BRUDENELL and WAX FACE presenting, this show places the band’s politically charged, slow-burning crescendos in a large theatre setting, giving their widescreen arrangements room to unfurl in full across the night.
