the ferret presents a punk-centred bill at THE FERRET on 9 January 2026, led by UK punk outfit Double Negative. Joining them are Manchester’s One Dimensional Creatures, bringing their blend of alternative punk, art punk, garage punk and alternative rock to the stage. Two Tonne Machete open the show, adding further edge to a line-up rooted in high-intensity guitar music. Together the bands draw from punk and alternative traditions, with One Dimensional Creatures’ jagged, politically charged sound slotting between Double Negative’s fierce punk and Two Tonne Machete’s punchy set for a tightly focused night of loud, uncompromising rock.
