“BOWIE'S GOLDEN YEARS” opens at Whelan's in Ireland on 27 February 2026, with American pianist and composer Mike Garson leading the show. Garson is joined by long-time collaborators Earl Slick, Gerry Leonard and Mark Plati, all closely linked through their work with David Bowie. Across the performance, Garson’s piano takes centre stage, with the band drawing on the shared Bowie history that connects them. As the first date of a short two-night Dublin run before moving to Opium, this Whelan's gig frames the project in an intimate setting with a line-up steeped in Bowie’s recorded and live legacy.
