Midlake cross to mainland Europe for a 9 February show at Wintercircus in Gent, Belgium. Their live set continues to explore the intersection of folk rock, indie folk and indie rock with progressive rock arrangements, reflecting the direction of upcoming album “A Bridge to Far” and singles “The Ghouls” and “Roadrunner Blues”. Joining them are Glasgow doom trio Brethren, whose EP “The Barb” showcases a faithful, heavy take on doom through tracks like “An Orbit Decayed”.
