Desertfest opens in London on 15 May 2026 with Green Lung headlining a bill that leans hard into doom metal, grunge and classic heavy rock. The British outfit lead a stacked lineup that also features US desert and stoner rock crew Hermano in principal support, amplifying the sandblasted riff energy. Alternative and doom-inflected metal band The Sword add their weighty, stoner metal edge further down the bill. Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs complete the opening-night run, rounding out a first show built on fuzz, volume and a shared love of punishingly heavy riffs.
