The January Blues Festival concludes at 229 on 3 January 2026, again headed by The Animals in full British blues rock mode. Their mix of blues rock, British blues, British rhythm & blues and mod sensibilities closes the run with the same core line-up that opened it. Geno Washington & The Ram Jam Band return in support, bringing their established soul sound back to the 229 stage. The pairing of The Animals’ blues-driven set and Geno Washington & The Ram Jam Band’s rhythmic soul underlines the festival’s focus on classic blues, British R&B and vintage soul across its final performance.
