January Blues Festival brings Band Of Friends and The Stumble to 229 in London on 4 January 2026 for a focused night of blues-rooted music. Band Of Friends draw on Rory Gallagher favourites such as “A Million Miles Away”, “Bad Penny” and “Calling Card”, channelling their blues rock heritage with Gerry McAvoy, Ted McKenna and Marcel Scherpenzeel on stage. They are joined by The Stumble, whose long-running blend of blues, soul and old school R&B adds a different shade to the same tradition. Together they create a bill grounded in groove, feel and guitar-driven storytelling.
