Lipstick Party lands at Village Underground on 14 February 2026 with Mermaid Chunky at the heart of the show. The audio-visual duo bring their collision of alternative dance, avant-folk and experimental energy, folding pumping trance rhythms, free-form improvisation and saxophone into a restless, electronic-led set. Expect their sculptural visuals to shape the room as much as the sound, blurring the line between gig and installation. Drawing on work such as the album “slif slaf slof” and singles “Chaperone” and “céilí”, Mermaid Chunky turn Village Underground into their own leftfield dance space for one night.
