Rum Jungle reach CORNISH BANK in Falmouth on 7 February, following their Birmingham show at SUNFLOWER LOUNGE. Their coastal surf-rock-alt-pop sound, shaped in Newcastle, Australia, finds a fitting setting here as they run through material from "Recency Bias" and singles including "Coal Dust", "What’s Next" and "Rocketship". The band’s mix of alt-rock guitars, psych-tinged leads and groove-led beats is geared to an intimate crowd, forming part of the south-west swing of a 16-date tour. From Falmouth, the run continues towards PHOENIX in Exeter, then on to Bristol, Brighton and a headline night at London’s ELECTRIC BALLROOM.
