The middle night of Discovery Festival at Slessor Gardens on 25 July 2026 pivots towards soul, jazz and jazz-funk led pop. Tony Hadley headlines, drawing on blue-eyed soul, easy listening and jazz influences. Level 42 bring their trademark blend of dance-rock, funk, jazz fusion and jazz-funk, locking in with Marc Almond’s new romantic, new wave and pop history. Haircut One Hundred, Hue & Cry and Jaki Graham deepen the bill, with Graham’s contemporary R&B, dance-pop, pop soul and soul adding another angle. Following the rock-centred opener, this show foregrounds groove, brass and sophisticated songwriting.
