Discovery Festival opens at Slessor Gardens on 24 July 2026 with The Libertines topping a guitar-driven bill. The London group bring their mix of alternative rock, garage rock revival, indie rock and post-punk revival to the Dundee stage, drawing from across their catalogue. The Lottery Winners add hook-heavy indie tones in the main support slot, while Reverend & The Makers complete the lineup. As the first show in a three-night run at the same venue, this performance sets a distinctly rock-centred tone before the festival shifts towards soul, jazz-funk and pure pop on subsequent dates.
