Blacktop Mojo bring their Texas Checkmate Tour 2026 to O2 Institute2 Birmingham on 9 April 2026, headlining a heavy, guitar-led bill. The Palestine, Texas rock band arrive with material spanning albums like their self-titled "Blacktop Mojo" and 2024 release "Pollen", plus fan favourites such as "Burn the Ships", "8000 Lines" and "Dream On". Manchester outfit Gorilla Riot add a blues-rooted desert rock, grunge and hard rock edge in support, channelling the analogue warmth and swagger heard on "Salvation". Opening the show, Brandon Stawart completes a line-up grounded firmly in contemporary rock and blues-inflected heaviness.
