With Gerry McAvoy and Ted McKenna, known from the Rory Gallagher Band, joined by Marcel Scherpenzeel, the trio revisit Gallagher favourites including “A Million Miles Away”, “Bad Penny” and “Calling Card”. Slotted between Belfast and Limerick dates, this Whelan’s performance keeps the focus on driving blues rock, echoing the approach heard on their 2023 live album “21 Days Live” while maintaining the touring momentum across these four closely packed shows.
