Band Of Friends hit Belfast Empire on 6 March 2026 for the second stop of their March blues rock run. Featuring Gerry McAvoy and Ted McKenna, both long-time members of the Rory Gallagher Band, with guitarist Marcel Scherpenzeel, the group focus on Gallagher’s catalogue, from “A Million Miles Away” and “Bad Penny” to “Calling Card”. This Belfast show lands between Cork and Dublin dates, part of a short run that also includes Limerick, and follows the same live energy captured on their 2023 release “21 Days Live”, keeping the focus firmly on amplified blues rock.
