Proud Mary bring their blues-infused rock to Manchester Academy 3 on 16 May 2026, headlining a focused blues rock show in their home city. Formed in 1998, the band draw on classic blues structures and distinctly British songwriting, heard across albums like “The Same Old Blues”, “Love and Light” and “Songs from Catalina”. With Greg Griffin, Paul Newsome, Tony Auton, Nathan Birkett and Hani Abbasi in the current line-up, the group’s catalogue of tracks such as “All Good Things”, “Crooked Heart” and “Give a Little Love” underpins a set built on melody, grit and tightly played guitar work.
