Desertfest closes its three-night Roundhouse stint on 17 May 2026, once more headed by Green Lung. Their doom metal, grunge and hard rock sound caps the run with a final blast of heavy atmosphere. The Sword again deliver alternative metal threaded with doom and stoner metal, sitting neatly alongside Earthless and their expansive instrumental psychedelic and stoner rock. Truckfighters bring driving desert rock, stoner rock and heavy metal to the late-run bill, while Capricorns contribute instrumental doom metal, math rock and progressive metal intricacy. Together they wrap up the Roundhouse chapter of Desertfest with a focused survey of modern heavy music’s heavier fringes.
