Desertfest opens at the Roundhouse on 15 May 2026 with Green Lung leading a stacked heavy bill. Their doom metal, grunge and hard rock sound anchors a line-up that leans deep into riff worship. The Sword add alternative metal and stoner metal weight, while Earthless stretch out into instrumental psychedelic rock and stoner rock. Truckfighters bring desert rock and fuzzed-up heavy metal energy, and Capricorns thread instrumental doom, math rock and progressive metal into the mix. It is a concentrated hit of doom metal, stoner metal and psychedelic rock, all within the Roundhouse’s cavernous setting for the festival’s first night.
