David Gray opens his Past & Present Tour at SSE Arena on 16 June 2026, drawing on a songbook that spans alternative rock, contemporary folk and folk rock. The show pairs his acoustic-driven writing with support from The Divine Comedy, whose art pop, baroque pop and chamber pop arrangements bring a contrasting orchestral flourish. Together they map a line from literate pop to intimate folk, with Gray’s catalogue framing the evening and The Divine Comedy setting the tone earlier in the bill. It is the first of two linked June dates, followed by Fairview Park the next night.
