The Highstool Prophets bring their Irish folk sound to O2 Academy2 Liverpool on 16 January 2026. Formed in Cavan in 2013, the band draw on deep folk traditions, folding in enduring favourites such as "Galway Girl", "Grace" and "Rocky Road to Dublin" alongside their own material. Their live outing "Live at The Town Hall, Cavan" has already captured the energy of their performances with versions of "Whisky in the Jar" and "The Irish Rover", and this Liverpool gig extends that approach to a UK stage, focusing squarely on their energetic, story-driven folk repertoire.
