Bywater Call bring their roots rock and southern soul sound to Oran Mor in Glasgow on 3 February 2027. The Toronto seven-piece are led by vocalist Meghan Parnell with Dave Barnes on guitar, Bruce McCarthy on drums, Mike Meusel on bass, John Kervin on keys, Stephen Dyte on trumpet and Julian Nalli on tenor saxophone, giving the gig a full band feel with brass and keys alongside guitar-driven grooves. Drawing on influences from The Band, Tedeschi Trucks Band and Otis Redding, Bywater Call move between raw ballads and punchier songs, with space for improvisation and instrumental interplay on stage.
