African Head Charge bring their psychedelic dub sound to Future Yard in Birkenhead on 7 November 2026. Active since 1981, the ensemble fuse dub, industrial textures, jungle rhythms and tripped-out atmospheres, pushing into experimental territory while staying rooted in heavy grooves. Their 2023 album “A Trip to Bolgatanga” and tracks like “Accra Electronica” and “All of the Love” showcase the hypnotic, exploratory side they carry onto the stage. With new material surrounding the “Barbican Heights” EP, this show highlights the group’s boundary-pushing intersection of dub, industrial and psychedelic electronics in an intimate setting.
