Gaerea bring their immersive black metal and blackened death metal sound to Club Academy in Manchester on 11 September 2026, headlining a focused metal bill. Emerging from Portugal in 2016, the band have honed an intense live presence around albums like "Coma" and "Loss", blending atmosphere with punishing weight. They are joined by Conjurer, whose post-metal and sludge metal approach adds a thick, downtuned counterpoint to Gaerea’s more dissonant attack. Together they cover a spectrum from bleak black metal to heaving sludge, making this Manchester show a concentrated fix of contemporary underground metal.
