The Waterboys head to Salt and Tar in Bootle on 14 August 2026, leading a show that leans into their celtic rock, folk rock and pop rock catalogue. Mike Scott’s long-running group appear here with support from Luvcat, whose modern pop and singer-songwriter material adds a contrasting texture to the bill. With just this one date announced at Salt and Tar, the performance brings the band’s expansive songbook, from early folk-leaning work to later pop rock records, into an outdoor setting in Bootle. Luvcat opens the night, setting the stage for The Waterboys’ full band set.
