Led by Mikey Dread and Jah T, the veteran UK sound system draw on over four decades of roots selections, exclusive dubplates and uplifting steppas. Known for hand-built speaker stacks and deep bass pressure, their shows focus on conscious lyrics and live dub mixing, echoing their long-running Notting Hill Carnival sessions. This Cambridge performance centres on Channel One Sound System alone, giving space for an extended sound system set shaped directly from the decks and the mic stand.
