The Wombats bring their indie pop sound to Kelvingrove Bandstand in Glasgow on 12 August 2026, joined by Liverpool four-piece Keyside. With two decades of hook-heavy writing behind them, The Wombats arrive following their album “Oh! The Ocean” and companion EPs “Oh! The Ocean: Holy Sugar” and “Oh! The Ocean: X-Rated.” Keyside open the show with their jangle-indie-pop, drawing on recent singles “Rock My Love” and “If You Don’t Try,” alongside EP cuts from “Michael (What’s Your Call?)” and “Nikita.” It is a focused pop bill, framed by Kelvingrove’s open-air setting in the heart of Glasgow.
